Does this sound like you?
The burdens of unresolved trauma, grief, or “pushing through” have left you feeling weighed down by emotional and physical pain that feels too much to carry alone. You may put on a pleasant mask, but beneath the surface, you often feel burned out, disconnected, or never quite good enough.
You may experience chronic feelings of shame, anxiety, or depression, sometimes without knowing exactly why. Or maybe you know why you experience these emotions, but find yourself unable to fully feel your way through them.
Perhaps you long for the sweet, child-like version of yourself, when everything felt simple and joy was so easy to access. Or you may be grieving the safe and whimsical childhood experience you were not granted. Maybe you’re struggling to hold space for both nostalgia and grief.
Still, deep down, there’s a part of you that longs for something more—a way to feel whole again, to reconnect with yourself, and to live with authenticity and joy. I truly believe we all have an inner knowing inherently within us to be able to live the life we desire, let me help you remember it.

How I Offer Soulful Support
-
With specialized training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), trauma-focused therapy provides a safe, compassionate space to address and process past experiences.
Using evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, integrating elements of Parts Work like Internal Family Systems (IFS), and drawing on the neuroscience of trauma's impact on the nervous system, I aim to support you in reclaiming your sense of self and fostering healing.
-
I believe that trauma cannot be fully processed through the mind alone. It begins as an experience in the body and can become stored within our nervous system, organs, and tissues, impacting our overall well-being. This understanding fuels my deep passion for addressing trauma through a somatic lens.
As a licensed therapist and yoga teacher, I utilize somatic regulation strategies such as
breathwork, gentle movement, and mindfulness techniques
to release tension and trauma held in the body, foster a deeper connection to your physical and emotional self, cultivate a sense of safety and presence, and strengthen emotional regulation.
-
There is a profound intersection between creativity and healing.
Knowing this, I enthusiastically encourage creativity during sessions. Expressive arts includes utilizing the healing powers of drawing, painting, molding, writing, movement, music, and more!
I also utilize Sandtray and Play Therapy techniques to support clients in accessing and expressing complex emotions.
Creativity helps us to express and make sense of our inner and outer worlds that words alone cannot capture.
-
I take special care to cultivate a calm and soothing therapeutic space. A place to arrive in and nurture even the most vulnerable parts of yourself.
Safety is my top priority because I recognize that, unfortunately, therapy hasn’t always been a safe haven for everyone. I am committed to creating a space where you feel secure and supported.
Together, we will collaboratively assess your needs and take intentional steps to ensure that the therapy environment fosters a sense of safety and trust throughout our work together.

This therapeutic book club provides a nurturing environment for members to explore the profound themes in Mother Hunger: How Adult Daughters Can Understand and Heal from Lost Nurturance, Protection, and Guidance by Kelly McDaniel.
Designed for women who resonate with the concept of "Mother Hunger," this group fosters self-awareness, emotional well-being, and re-connection through guided discussion and reflective practices.
Together, we read the book in segments, to be completed in between bi-weekly sessions.
Our sessions will be an inclusive and non-judgmental space allowing members to share insights, ask questions, and unpack the reading in a supportive group setting.
Each sessions offers opportunities for personal reflection through journaling prompts, art-based activities, or guided visualization, helping members deepen their connection to the material and themselves.
Over 7 sessions, members will explore the impacts of attachment, discover strategies for self-nurturance, and cultivate a sense of inner guidance and self-compassion.

The Holiday Season is approaching, and with it comes a whirlwind of emotions!
For many, the Holidays are a bittersweet season filled with elevated levels of stress and anxiety, increased exposure to our “sometimes dysfunctional” family dynamics, re-emerging reminders of loss, or even painful memories from our past.
As children, we may have seen the season through a lens of magic, but adulthood often brings a new perspective.
This time of year can evoke strong emotional reactions which we may not have the words to explain, but are often our body’s way of communicating it remembers the not-so-magical side of the Holidays.
This group is for women who want to reclaim a bit of holiday magic for themselves
Women, mother’s especially, are most often the behind the scenes “magic makers” of the Holiday season. Whether this is a role you have proudly taken on yourself, or an expectation placed upon you (or both), it can bear a heavy weight. Women often find themselves falling farther and farther down the list of priorities.
Together, over 7 sessions, we will come together and acknowledge the efforts “tirelessly” put into making this season special for those around us and cultivate intentional practices for navigating the highs and lows of the Holiday season.
Let’s uncover strategies to manage stress, prioritize your well-being, and bring more balance and joy to your holiday experience.
This group will be compassionately co-facilitated by Nicole Cumpton, LCSW and Lauren Soutullo, LMHC.
